AN exhibition of proposed changes to the centre of St Neots is being held in the town.
A major enlargement of the conservation areas within St Neots, Eynesbury and the Eatons is planned by Huntingdonshire District Council as part of a review of existing boundaries first drawn in 1971.
The proposed new boundary would amalgamate the existing three conservation areas into one larger one and include large areas of meadow land which form the setting of the town. The area is proposed to extend northwards to Crosshall and Little Paxton, and south to the A428.
INFORMATION: The display, part of a public consultation, will takes place in the town council offices at the Priory Centre between September 5-8 from 10am until 4pm each day and on 9 September from 10am until 2pm. The exhibition is just one element of a public consultation programme which ends on September 15.
