A MAN who was hit by a lorry on the A14 on Saturday (April 20) has died in hospital.
Mantas Inokaitis, 22, of Padholme Road, Peterborough was taken to Addenbrooke’s Hospital in a critical condition after the accident which happened on the westbound carriageway between Godmanchester and Huntingdon at around 7pm.
Mr Inokaitis is thought to have been walking on the dual carriageway when he was hit by the lorry.
The driver of the lorry, a 55-year-old man, was not injured.
Police are looking to determine what happened and are appealing to anyone who may have information on the incident to call PC Theron Pearman on 101.
