The A14 is due to be closed in both directions overnight between the Spittals interchange and Godmanchester for up to two weeks from Monday (October 13) for repair work.

The Highways Agency says cracks will be filled and damaged sections resurfaced between junctions 23 and 24.

Making the repairs on the 2.5-mile stretch of dual carriageway will cost £300,000.

The closures are to be in place from 10pm to 6am and drivers will be diverted via the A428 and the A1.
