A tree which had stood in the centre of Huntingdon for 150 years was cut down on Thursday.

The sycamore at All Saints Church, overlooking the Market Square, was deemed dangerous due to disease.

Church Warden Terry Fleming said: "It is hundreds of years old, we think parishioners will be upset to see it go, it will have been in lots of peoples photographs.
