YOU need look no further than the Tesco store in Abbots Ripton Road ("Litter of the lore," April 16) to see the disgraceful mess caused by their plastic bags festooning the tress and verges along the bypass.
Huntingdonshire District Council is fighting a losing battle trying to keep this area litter-free. Tesco should be fined for spoiling our town.
