A mother of twins raised £502 in a sponsored three-hour rowing machine challenge for the special care baby unit at Hinchingbrooke Hospital, Huntingdon.
Olivia and Lauren Bocking, aged 21 months, pictured here with the giant cheque, were treated in the unit for two weeks after they were born.
Their mum Louise said she put on more than four stone during her pregnancy and decided to get the weight off by going to the gym and tackling the rowing machine.
"It was a little bit of me-time and I needed to get fit again."
In June at the Mayor of Huntingdon's Charity Day at Riverside Park, Louise set out on a sponsored row to raise cash for the special care baby unit and rowed 42km in three hours.
The cheque was presented by Olivia and Lauren to nurse Becky Eve.
