HAS anybody else in this district had the misfortune of being indirectly charged by the Huntingdon Constituency Conservative Association?

On April 3 I received a notice-of-underpayment from the Post Office, which had tried to deliver a letter to me. As I work in Huntingdon, at the time of delivery I was out. I was not expecting anything to be delivered.

As the Easter Bank Holiday was approaching, I had to leave work early on the Thursday to pay for this letter and collect it. Could you imagine the horror and anger when I paid the fee, only to find out that it contained an "Eaton Socon Survey", asking me to "Tell Mandy What You Think," with the totally sarcastic comment on the corner saying "free return postage paid"? Yet this envelope did not have any stamp on it.

I have decided not to tell Mandy what I think, I'd rather share my feelings with others in our area. Has anybody else suffered this misfortune? It would be interesting to hear what other people think.
