It need not make a profit, as it used by local people. Councillor Giles should visit on a Thursday and see it used by elderly people dancing.
We are well aware that developers are hanging around who would like to turn it into up-market flats.
In the past I have been to various functions at the Priory, including my son's wedding reception, a model railway exhibition and various carnival events.
I am 82, and it's not my future. With £1million they should be able to build one from scratch.
