REGARDING rerouting buses through the centre of St Ives (The Hunts Post, April 2) I would perhaps not have quite such strong views against the proposal if the council had not spent a large sum of (my) money in lowering all the kerbs in the town centre to provide a pedestrianised area. No kerbs and buses do not mix.
