I ASSURE your readers that Buckden Parish Council does not intend to create any costs for its residents (The Hunts Post, September 10). The village has public spirited residents with the experience, energy and expertise to represent its views at the public inquiry. It does not intend hiring expensive legal assistance.
We shall of course be very glad of the support from Brampton Parish Council and the HDC for our argument that the proposed new road should be along the line of the proposed Brown Route to the west of the A1. Perhaps wisdom may prevail and they will also support our views on the Huntingdon and Godmanchester bypass viaduct.
