ONE of Huntingdonshire's most likely bands to break into the mainstream, 9foldpunch, are back on the road later this month.

Having recently played the re-opened Barfly@Graduate venue in Cambridge, the fourpiece have announced new tour dates for October.

This follows tours already this year in April and August, making them possibly the hardest working band to hail from Fenstanton in recent history.

The new tour is scheduled as follows:

* October 19 - The Sweatbox, Wantage

* October 20 - The Venue, Stockport

* October 21 - Quay Cafe, Manchester

* October 22 - The Custard Factory, Birmingham

* October 25 - The Vic, Swindon.

Local fans who are unable to travel to these shows shouldn't fear though, as they are back in St Ives on November 23 with a gig at Floods Tavern, and they'll also be playing a Christmas show at The George, Fenstanton, on December 22.
