IN these times when few firms have the financial resources available to support charities I would like to draw attention to the fantastic generosity Eaton Socon Pre-School receives from the Hong Kong Chinese restaurant, on Market Square, St Neots, during Chinese New Year.
Not only did they open up early to cook 65 Chinese meals for the pre-school children to enjoy, but they also presented them with lucky bags containing fortune cookies and money - all this at no cost to ourselves or the children.
This fantastic act of generosity has been going on for many years. Without this support our children would not be able to complete the full experience of celebrating Chinese New Year.
