A NEW retailer is expected to move into the empty former Marks and Spencer's store in Huntingdon High Street later this year.
Although the name of the business has not been released, The Hunts Post understands that lease negotiations are continuing and should soon be finalised.
Town centre manager, Katy Sismore, said: "The agents are going through the legal proceedings with the lease and we should have someone in the building by September.
"It is going to be a retailer but the agents won't release the identity just yet."

Work is also progressing on finding tenants for another empty store - Churchmanor Estates is believed to be in negotiation over the lease of the former Grafton Projects unit in Chequers Court.
However, there still doesn't seem to be any progress with the Woolworths site.
