THE site of the now-demolished Brookside Primary School, on Huntingdon ring road, could be developed to provide 21 new homes.Huntingdonshire District Council's cabinet will be asked tomorrow (Thursday) to approve draft planning guidance for the 0.42-hectare area.The building, put up in 1905, was demolished in 2000 after planning consent for a supermarket on the site was turned down and an appeal failed.After the primary school closed and before the site was acquired by Lidl UK, the building was used first as an annex to St Peter's School and, more recently, as the Brookside Music and Drama Centre.INFORMATION: If cabinet approves the draft document, it will go to public consultation.
