THE Teddy Bear Nursery at Huntingdonshire Regional College re-opens this term in its new building.

At the opening ceremony last week, Alan Barnish, chairman of the College Corporation, cut the ribbon in front of smiling children and staff who came to look around the much anticipated new site.

The popular nursery is staffed by a dedicated team and was graded good by Ofsted in November, 2004. Parents have always been delighted by the high level of care but the former building had become unsatisfactory over the past few years. The new building has places for 52 children, including a baby unit.

INFORMATION: The Teddy Bear Nursery is primarily for young children of college students, but in the future some places will be offered to the public. Contact Pam Burton for details of fees and opening times on 01480 379228.
