THE trial of an Eaton Socon man accused of beating his wife to death opened on Monday in Norwich.
Andrew Evans, a 49-year-old postman, denies murdering his wife Leonie, 46, in February last year.
On Monday, a jury was sworn in at Norwich Crown Court and then sent home until today (Wednesday) to allow discussions on points of law.
The jury is expected to begin hearing evidence today.
Evans is being remanded in custody.
