The new year started with a new commander at the RAF bases at Brampton and Wyton.
Following his recent promotion, Air Commodore Nigel Beet has taken up a post at the RAF's headquarters at High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire.
His place as commander of the Royal Air Force Brampton Wyton Henlow was taken by Group Captain Gordon Bruce last Thursday.
Group Capt Bruce, who has been in the RAF for 19 years, said he was looking forward to working with the RAF personnel, their families, and the wider community.
The new base commander has worked with the RAF throughout the UK and Germany, and also saw active service in the Middle East.
