ESSENTIAL maintenance work to road surfaces on the A1 northbound near Stibbington in north Huntingdonshire will take place overnight tonight (Monday May 21) from 8pm.
The northbound carriageway will be closed between junction 17 of the A1(M) (Peterborough Services) and the A47/A1 Wansford interchange until 6am tomorrow (Tuesday). Northbound traffic will be diverted off the A1 at junction 17 onto the A1139 towards Peterborough, then onto the A1260 (Nene Parkway) northbound to junction 15 of the A47, along the A47 westbound and back on to the A1 northbound at the A47/A1 interchange near Wansford.
