A Peugeot 307 left the B1040 at 8.15am on Thursday (December 17). Firefighters used specialist cutting equipment to free the trapped motorist who was treated at the scene for slight injuries.

Forty five minutes later a grey Mazda MX5 left Graveley Road and landed in a ditch. No one was injured.

A spokesman for Cambridgeshire police said officers were checking the road surfaces to see if gritting was needed.
