A MOTORIST has died after a car crash in Holme.
Emergency services were called just after 7.30am on Tuesday, December 2 to reports of a single vehicle collision on the B660 between Holme village and the A1.
Firefighters from Sawtry, Yaxley and Dogsthorpe arrived at the scene to find one person trapped. Crews released the person using specialist cutting equipment.
The road was closed for more than three hours while the rescue took place.
A spokesman for Cambridgeshire police said one person had died as a result of the collision. She added that details of the person's age, sex, address and the vehicle they were driving could not yet be released to the public.
