MAY Day Monday saw us visiting one of our favourite places in the St Ives area - Houghton Mill. The circular walk through the Hemingfords and St Ives is delightful, but wouldn't be complete without a visit to the National Trust tea shop, next to the mill, where we first enjoyed lunch - lovely home made sandwiches, soup and cakes, and later, after a walk, the best cream tea we've eaten in years - scones hot from the oven. Thoroughly recommend a visit.
