TWO men have been arrested on suspicion of fuel theft in St Neots overnight.
Police swooped to arrest the men shortly after midnight this morning (Wednesday) at the Tesco store in Barford Road, Eynesbury.
The men, a 23-year-old from London and a 28-year-old from Hull, were in a blue transit van loaded with 25 drums of fuel.
Both men were arrested on suspicion of theft and are currently in custody at Huntingdon Police Station.
The origin of the fuel recovered is not yet known but its value is believed to extend into many thousands of pounds.
