I WAS recently an inpatient on Birch Ward at Hinchingbrooke Hospital and having heard so many bad reports of people’s experiences in hospitals around the country, I was feeling rather apprehensive prior to my admission. I could not have been more wrong.
I am keen to let people know of the excellent quality of care both in terms of medical expertise and personal care I experienced during my 11 night stay. I honestly could not have had any better treatment. The medical team were superb and I had absolutely no conception of how hard nurses work. Both the medical and nursing team worked together to ensure I received the best treatment possible. On top of this the ward was extremely clean and the food was excellent.
