THE Mayor of Huntingdon has officially opened a sandwich shop in the town.
Cllr Jeff Dutton accompanied by Mayoress Claire Dutton, officially opened Subway in Chequers Court on Thursday.
James Martin, franchisee of Subway Huntingdon, which began trading in December said: "We have created 12 new jobs for local people and it is great that the success of the store is being recognised by our new mayor. There are now eight Subway stores across Cambridgeshire and the stores' success across the region proves the value people place on good quality food."
