A TALENTED teenage dancer and singer from Eynesbury is to appear live on television on a new BBC talent show.
Marie Thomas, 15, who attends St Neots Community College and dances three times a week at the Langdale Academy of Dance in Eaton Socon, will sing on Let Me Entertain You, which will be aired in the spring.
The young performer told The Hunts Post she had come a long way since the days when she was too nervous to perform in public.
"I had never danced before coming to Langdale a year ago. In fact, I would cry at the thought, but now I will be performing a big dance and song number live on television. I've come a long way."
Marie sang One by One for her audition, and intends to sing All That Jazz on the live show.
Langdale Academy students Zoe Mulgrew (13), Maisie Grant (13), Tara Ward (12) and Romany Crotch (13) will star alongside Marie on the programme as her dancers.
