A MAN has been taken to hospital after the van he was driving rolled over and crashed near to Ramsey St Mary's.
Emergency services were called just after 5pm on Tuesday (September 29) to reports of a single-vehicle collision on Herne Road near to Pondersbridge. When firefighters arrived, they found a van had rolled over in the road close to the crossroads at the B1095, and the male driver was trapped inside.
Crews removed the rear doors of the vehicle so that paramedics could access the male casualty.
A spokesman for the East of England Ambulance Service said a 28-year-old man had been taken to Peterborough District Hospital. The extent of his injuries is not yet known.
