A CAMBOURNE man who flew into a fit of rage and admitted assaulting a man and the man's girlfriend has been jailed for four months.
John Mccallum, 49, of Back Lane, pleaded guilty to causing actual bodily harm to John Brown and common assault on Anne Tobin at the couple's home in Ely.
Prosecuting, Francesca Devine said the three of them had been drinking. She explained that Mr Brown alleged that McCallum touched his girlfriend's breasts and threw a fan at him before punching him to the floor.
Magistrates were told McCallum denied touching Ms Tobin.
