AN ELDERLY man was taken to Hinchingbrooke Hospital after he fell out of the car he was driving and became trapped under the vehicle.
The man suffered minor injures in the incident which took place at 5.50pm on Thursday (September 20) at Rainbow Surgery Car Park in Stocking Fen Road in Ramsey.
Police and firefighters were called and the man was rescued using hydraulic lifting equipment and taken to hospital by ambulance and later released.
It is believed the man fell out of the door of a blue Peugeot 405 as he started to drive off and then ran over himself. One leg was said to have become trapped under the wheel of the car and another in the door.
