AN elderly man was escorted home by police after being spotted travelling along the A14 at Godmanchester on a mobility scooter.
Concerned motorists phoned police at 2.30pm on Tuesday (April 7) after seeing a man driving a mobility scooter along the eastbound carriageway near to junction 24.
Officers arrived at scene and took the man home.
A spokesman for Cambridgeshire police said the A14 is not a suitable place for mobility scooters.
