AN elderly man died this morning (Wednesday April 30) after a house fire in Little Paxton.
Firefighters were called at 7.46am to reports of a house on fire in Gordon Avenue.
Crews entered the house and removed a man from a first floor bedroom before attempting to resuscitate the man outside the property - but he was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police have cordoned off the house and an investigation has been launched to find out the cause of the fire.
The name and age of the man has not yet been released.
