A MAN was attacked and stabbed in a street in Eaton Socon.
The 29-year-old spent five days in hospital with fractured ribs and serious facial injuries after being attacked by three men.
Huntingdon CID is investigating the incident in which the victim was stabbed in his right shoulder at about midnight on Thursday, May 4, in Bushmead Road.
A police spokesman told The Hunts Post: "We do not believe the incident to be a random attack as we believe the victim knew his attackers."
The victim was taken to Hinchingbrooke Hospital where he remained for five days before being discharged.
Detective Constable Karin Peters from Huntingdon CID said: "I am appealing for anyone who was in the area at the time and either saw the attack take place, or saw or heard anything suspicious to contact police."
