A MAN aged 31 has been arrested in connection with a number of arsons in the Waveney Road area of St Ives on Saturday, August 8.
As reported by The Hunts Post last week, five cars were torched in the Waveney Road area of town including one in Constable Road, Gainsborough Drive, Moreland Way and Ouse Road. They included a Mazda 323, a Ford Ka and Vauxhall Corsa.
The man, who lives in St Ives, was arrested on suspicion of arson on Sunday (August 16) evening and has been bailed to return to Huntingdon Police Station on October 2.
