AT LEAST one vehicle was trapped after a lorry overturned on the Spittals Interchange near to Huntingdon on Tuesday (July 3) lunchtime.
Police were called at 1.08pm to reports that a lorry had overturned, trapping at least one other vehicle.
It is believed the driver of the lorry suffered injuries but the extent of these injuries are not yet known. Paramedics were at the scene.
The A14 eastbound between Spittals and the Brampton Hut roundabout was closed to allow emergency and recovery services to deal with the incident. Some slip roads on and off the Spittals roundabout were also closed and drivers were advised to avoid the area and take alternative routes.
