We are living on state pensions and we pay full Council Tax, so the bus pass is a little bit of our money back. After working for 50 years, surely I am entitled to a free bus pass without worrying what it costs the Council Tax payer. We have paid rates for 46 years without claiming any benefits.
My message to the Liberal Democrats is to pick on others who get benefits without qualifying for them, and leave OAPs to enjoy their hard-earned free bus passes.
