I AM glad to see some movement on the possibility of a cinema back in St Neots. I have had some correspondence with some town councillors, but I am getting different views about the true facts of what is going on. I am to believe the people who would be
I AM glad to see some movement on the possibility of a cinema back in St Neots.
I have had some correspondence with some town councillors, but I am getting different views about the true facts of what is going on.
I am to believe the people who would be interested in running a cinema wish it to be in Priory area, and would need car parking and restaurant facilities.
I also believe that a purpose-built cinema is out of the question because of cost (with a figure given as between £4-£5million), and the catchment would not warrant a purpose-built cinema.

However, if it had a dual purpose: one as a cinema and two, as a theatre, that could possibly make a difference.
The people of this town could do with some good entertainment instead of having to travel miles from their homes.

Let us hope the people of St Neots get the long awaited cinema and this does not turn into another guided-bus fiasco.
