The £1million extension to Sawtry Leisure Centre should be ready this summer. Building work began in October.

The new facilities include a fitness suite, dance and aerobics studio, new changing rooms, a creche, new reception area and car park.

Huntingdonshire District Councillor Jean Chandler said: "The extension to facilities at Sawtry Leisure Centre will be a valuable addition to Huntingdonshire District Council's sport and leisure provision.

We are certain that customers of all ages will benefit from our investment for many years to come."
