A LARGE quantity of cannabis with an estimated street value of £45,000 was seized by police during a drugs raid at a property in Eynesbury.
The raid, which is believed to be the largest in the St Neots area for 20 years, was led by the Eynesbury neighbourhood policing team on Wednesday (December 13).
Electrical equipment used in the cultivation of cannabis was also seized from the house in Berkley Street.
Pc Neil English, who co-ordinated the raid, said: "This operation highlights the success of neighbourhood policing. The information which led to this warrant came from the local community talking to local officers. We believe that this is the largest single drug seizure made by local officers in the St Neots area within the last 20 years.
