BILLED as Kate Bush meets Blondie with a Middle East twist, singer, songwriter, Hadar Manor, pictured, will be at The Elm Tree in Cambridge on Wednesday, January 24.
Hadar Manor was discovered busking on the Underground and invited on to the South Bank Show.
Her music is a fervent synthesis of folk, blues, electro and new wave indie with powerful tones of the Middle East.
Born in a small village near Jerusalem, Hadar had to serve three years in the Israel army once she reached 18. After that she came to Europe, where she squatted in an artists commune in Amsterdam before heading to London.
