TWO weeks’ overnight and weekend work to renew and upgrade the ditch along the A1 at Southoe starts this evening (Monday).
The work is being carried out between 8pm and 6am, Mondays to Fridays, between 8am and 6pm on Saturdays and between 9am and 6pm on Sundays.
It involves the closure of one lane on the northbound carriageway as well as the closure of the Lees Lane junction with the A1, with a 50mph speed restriction in place. Southoe residents are using Bell Lane to access the village from the A1.
