IN light of the fine restoration of St Pancras Station and its close proximity to King's Cross, may I enquire whether it is intended to provide rail or at least improved pedestrian access between the two, especially for passengers with luggage?
At present, getting from one to the other seems to involve a long series of rather dreary tunnels and staircases unless, as is quite possible, we did not take the easiest route, in which case could there be improved signing?

* Editor's note: Network Rail says major improvements are planned to King's Cross. In the meantime, there are two pedestrian crossings of Pancras Road, offering level access from King's Cross to the lower level of St Pancras, which includes the shops and ticket hall. There are stairs, escalators and lifts to the platforms on the upper floor.
