A GRAND national-winning jockey broke his jaw in two places during a horrific fall at Huntingdon Racecourse yesterday (Thursday). Graham Lee, 32, was also kicked in the chest as he fell from his horse during the incident in the Betfredpoker Novices' Chase just before 3pm. Irishman Lee was knocked unconscious after falling from his mount Cash King at the fourth from last and then being kicked in the chest by following horse Sea Cadet. Four ambulances and the East Anglian air ambulance helicopter were called to the scene as medics treated Lee on the course for more than 20 minutes. He was eventually taken to Addenbrooke's Hospital in Cambridge by road where doctors confirmed he had fractured his jaw. Lee rode Amberleigh House to victory in the 2004 Grand National at Aintree and also won the 2006 Peterborough Chase at Huntingdon.
