I ATTENDED the Brookside School reunion in the Masonic Hall with high hopes that I would meet up with a few of my old school friends, but I guess I am too old.

I attended Brookside from 1936-1950 but I met only one person that I knew.

He lived only three doors from me but he was eight years younger than me so, although I knew him, he did not know me.

I used to live in West Street until I was 21 and I lost touch with everyone when I moved to Cambridge - everyone except Greta.

We remained good friends until four years ago when she, sadly, passed away.

This reunion has brought many people to mind and has urged me to write in the hope that there are a few left who remember me. I would love to hear from them.
