ON Thursday, September 6, at lunchtime, several lads were eating chips in East Street, St Ives, at the entrance to Cow and Hare Passage. A man went up to them, verbally abused them, telling them not to litter his property, and then put his hand under the dish and knocked the chips into the air - littering his property.
This action was completely uncalled-for and was witnessed by a number of people in the street. Mr Whoever-you-were, please make a public apology to these lads.
