IT seems likely that we're to be prevented from turning right onto the A141 leaving Kings Ripton Road. As a professional driver, I am only too aware that tinkering with junctions never improves the quality of road users - attitude and awareness are the keys to this.
I'm saddened that Warren Hay joined the litany of young people hit by cars annually, but I'm annoyed at the cynical political capital being made. This tragic incident was nothing to do with vehicles turning right.
I'm low paid, and it looks as if I'm going to have to divert on my way to some customers. Will I be compensated? The environment will be adversely affected. Has this even been considered? Are we going to be consulted? Are the local politicos ever going to stop making a meal of a simple thing?
