THE man killed on the railway line near Huntingdon Railway Station yesterday (Tuesday, April 13) was 32 and from Huntingdon, British Transport Police have said.
The circumstances are not being treated as suspicious. Police were called to the scene just after 4pm and trains were stopped between Huntingdon and Peterborough and delayed at the London end of the line from King's Cross as the line was closed.
The incident as attended by officers from BTP and Cambridgeshire Police.
A spokesman said: "Paramedics from the Cambridgeshire Ambulance Service also attended, but the man was pronounced dead at the scene. A file will be prepared for the coroner."
