HAVING served as a councillor in Huntingdon for 38 years and also having played a small part in the local political scene during that time, it was interesting to read that Huntingdon Town Council was not aware that in town council by-elections it has to ask the district council election organisation to provide polling cards.
Are the town council and its members so na�ve? If so, how will they deal with the bigger problems like that of Huntingdon Town Hall and its future?
Or maybe the councillors in the ruling group decided to keep quiet about polling cards in a smart and clever move to issue their own excellent polling cards.
