Budding young fishermen, including Robert from St Neots, pictured, spent the day angling on the River Great Ouse with a qualified instructor on Friday.
The group of 12 to 16-year-olds were given instructions by an angling coach from Hinchingbrooke Country Park.
The youngsters learned the rules and regulations of the waterways, how to use different types of bait and equipment, and identifying shoals of fish.
This summer's sessions, which are now fully booked, are run by Hinchingbrooke Country Park.
