Work on Herne Road will be carried from 7.30am to 5pm. Monday to Saturday. but the extent of the repair means that the road will be completely closed during the duration of the project which is expected to take six weeks. The repair will be done in two phases with the first on Herne Road taking an estimated four weeks and the second, at the Holme Road junction, a further fortnight. Diversions will be in place and access for residents maintained.More information about the project is at www.cambridgeshire.gov.uk/droughtroads.
