Drivers are warned that roadworks on the A14 mean it will be closed overnight from Monday (May 11) for two weeks.
Highways England, the new name for the Highways Agency, is due to carry out resurfacing works on the westbound carriageway between Bar Hill and St Ives.
Closures will be in place between 10pm and 6am until Friday, May 22.
Traffic will be diverted along the A428 to St Neots and onto the A1.
A Highways England spokesman said: “Access for residents will be retained at all times, with local residents who require access escorted past the roadworks by traffic marshals.”
The work, which is dependent on suitable weather conditions, includes resurfacing and patching, and the renewal of road markings and road studs.
Once the westbound carriageway is finished, the eastbound side will be next.
