Police were called to the westbound carriageway just after junction 26 for St Ives at about 11.30am after reports of a crash between two lorries and a car transporter. A spokesman for Cambridgeshire police said: Not believed to be any injuries, however there is oil spillage in the carriageway which will need clearing. The road was closed while investigations into the collision took place and the scene was cleared, before reopening at about 4pm. Congestion stretched as far back as the M11 and, although lengthy delays remain in the area, it is understood that the traffic is beginning to ease. Motorists are being advised to leave extra time for journeys.
